About the Project
Madison Bassani is an experienced professional bookbinder and a current BFA student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Her passion for text and book media is what ultimately led her to pursue a career in bookbinding with one of B.C.'s oldest remaining binderies eventually becoming manager. Now she is branching off to explore the boundaries of book media in her up and coming Artist Book Mail Club series "ECLECTICA".

Follow along as each month Madison pushes the envelope of book media in intruiging and experimental ways! Each month/book will be centered around a different theme and/or research topic, as a means to abstract the different creative elements of a book.

The best part (in my opinion) is that very little effort is required on your part. Sign up on this website and you'll receive an Artist Book by way of mail. Have art come to you!
Books will be sent out on the first of the month after sign-up. The first ever edition goes out July 1st 2026!
